Asian Children's Foundation, Inc. operates a children's orphanage in Myanmar, formerly known as Burma.  For security reasons we cannot give the location.

The workers and children in this picture has had their eyes smudged for their protection.  Myanmar is a communist country and Christian orphanages are not allowed.  Most orphans are put in Buddhist monastaries and made to serve as monks.  We provide a comfortable home, food, clothing and school supplies for our children.  Our worker "Dolly" (not her real name) teaches the children Bible stories and many have been saved.  Also our children have learned English and can quote whole chapters from memory.

During the 2008 Cyclone Nargis devastation of the tiny country of Myanmar which claimed more than 130,000 Burmese lives ACFI was there to help although the communist government would not allow foreign aid in the country.  In a few weeks period I raised $50,000 USD for aid relief for Myanmar.  My wife Ahmie and I hand carried the funds in Myanmar and with our Burmese teams we purchased food, tractors, boats, fishing nets, etc. for the people who had been forgotten by their own country's leaders.

Our workers deliver tractors and rice seed to village farmers in the delta.

ACFI teams deliver rice to needy villagers. This opens the door of opportunity to reach these folks with the Gospel in the future.
